Art has always been part of who I am. I grew up—and still live—on Florida’s beautiful Space Coast, where surfing, bird watching, and soaking in the coastal scenery are part of everyday life. Naturally, I paint what I know and love: the vibrant, easygoing rhythm of my surroundings.
When my sons were young, I ran an art studio at the end of my street inside our local community center—coincidentally, the same elementary school I once attended. It was the perfect setup for art classes and creative workshops, and it became a gathering place for local art lovers.
When the building was converted back into an elementary school, I had to close the studio and took a break to focus on other creative pursuits. During that time, I became certified in Home Staging and Redesign, blending my love for art with interior harmony. Now, I enjoy helping others find balance in their spaces—whether it’s choosing the right piece, coordinating colors, or figuring out how to hang artwork so it truly feels “at home.”
One of my favorite places is my own backyard tiki bar—a cheerful, laid-back space that perfectly captures my casual beachside lifestyle and has become a big inspiration for my art. Each piece I create reflects that same sense of sunshine, salt air, and simplicity.
