Founded by Betty Bauman, the Ladies, Let’s Go Fishing Foundation is a nationally recognized nonprofit organization dedicated to teaching women the sport of fishing in a fun, supportive, and confidence-building environment.
Through a series of immersive weekend fishing seminars, women of all ages and backgrounds can learn, practice, and connect with others who share their love of the outdoors. Participants receive hands-on instruction from some of the top fishing captains and industry experts, covering everything from casting and knot-tying to navigation, equipment use, and marine conservation.
The program’s signature “No-Yelling School of Fishing” approach ensures a relaxed, encouraging atmosphere where no question is too small and every success is celebrated. To date, more than 8,000 graduates from across the U.S. have discovered the joy and empowerment of fishing through this unique experience.
Beyond the core seminars, the Foundation also hosts international fishing excursions, special events, and even a fish-cooking school, offering participants a full circle of adventure—from catching to cooking!
